VUD 1500-2 S

A BEAST WITH MANY TALENTS

WF Maschinenbau is the only company in the world to have built such a strong and heavy metal forming machine in the past. ‘The beast’ has two separate spinning supports with forming forces of 1,000kN axial and 800kN radial. Up to six different forming rollers can be used at any angle thanks to the use of a triple roller changer for each spinning support. The high-torque main spindle and the high tailstock contact pressure generate power reserves for particularly heavy workpieces.
Like all machines from WF Maschinenbau, the VUD 1500-2 S was designed and built in-house at the company’s headquarters in Sendenhorst, Germany. It masters all non-cutting metal forming technologies.

VUD 1500-2 S Vertical universal spinning machine THE BEAST

The VUD 1500 is a special machine for customized solutions in metal forming or the combination of multiple forming processes. This machine series is available in many different sizes and designs. A VUD is also located in our R&D center at our headquarters in Sendenhorst, Germany.
End products: VUD 1500 2 S is capable of forming a steel blank (grade 50) of 32 mm (1 1/4”) thickness. By mastering all chipless metal forming technologies, it is able to form an extremely wide range of products.
