With effect from July 31, 2023, Dr. Bodo Fink, Managing Director and CEO, withdrew for private reasons from the management of WF Maschinenbau und Blechformtechnik GmbH & Co. KG. The previous Managing Director and CTO Christian Malkemper took over the sole management of the company as of 01.08.2023. The company, which was founded in 1975, was sold to the mpool group from Düsseldorf as part of a succession plan. The mpool group, which invests specifically in medium-sized companies from classic German sectors such as mechanical and plant engineering, materials technology and technical services, has seconded Dr. Fink to WF Maschinenbau as managing director. Industry leader in the construction of customized metalforming machines Over the past seven years, the company has continued to develop, both in terms of its regional expansion (founding of the subsidiary WF Machinery Inc. in the USA and establishment of the foreign representative office in China) and in terms of further development of the product portfolio (implementation of the Industry 4.0 range SMART FORMING tools, re-entry into spinning machine production, registration of various patents). In the process, the company was able to further expand its most distinctive unique selling proposition - namely the highly customized construction of metal forming machines - and thus clearly set itself apart from the competition.

KG. At the same time, he paid tribute to the outgoing managing director: "Dr. Fink has managed the agendas of the company very successfully and with great commitment. It is also to his credit that WF Maschinenbau always stayed on course in particularly dynamic times. Fair partnerships and a clear focus on his team were always important to him." Christian Malkemper has already been with the company for 25 years and has been part of the management team at WF Maschinenbau for 2 years. "With Christian Malkemper as sole managing director, we are ideally positioned for the future. He has proven expertise and decades of market knowledge. He stands for continuity in the company and will look after our customers together with his experienced team," says Christophe Permantier.
