Sealing-ring slots are chipless profiled in clutch plates and plate carriers, brake pistons, ecc., by our VPA (Vertical Automatic Profiling Unit) with no costly and complex turning and chip-removal. The high precision of the beading generated guarantees vibration-free running.
Thinner material can be used, thanks to the flanging and profiling of the edge of the round, and this has a positive effect on weight and costs. And another benefit: cycle times of only 15 seconds! The ideal complement for this machine is the VDV, which preturns the rounds.
