Bottoms and cylinder necks of practically any contours in the shoulder/neck area of the gas cylinder can be produced using the SFM (necking-in machine). Gas-tight bottoms require only a single cutting-torch operation. Wall thickness in the shoulder area is increased by up to 5-fold the initial wall thickness.
